和lanlord发生一些纠纷

我的landlord在没有通知我的情况下,将我告到了superior court of justice,我不知道这是什么法院,昨天我收到法院来的notice to vacate,命令我在7月19号之前必须搬家,只有一个礼拜的时间,我不可能搬出去的,而且家里还有我两个回国了的roommate的家具.landlord这样的做法是否合理,我没有得到任何辩护的机会就强行让我搬,landlord是不是有权利让tanent在任何时间搬家或者是通过授权法院在tanent没有辩护的情况下...
望有关熟悉住房法律或者有类似经历的朋友给点意见,很急,19号就要到了...
