promotion/tenure committee, academic appeals board, student misconduct and appeals committee 等等。学校很可能还有senate 如faculty senate。大的学科的society或association可能会有regional分部。学校/教授可能会组织regional meeting （比如meeting在本校开）或带领学生参加regional meeting，给presentation.
