I purchased U.S. Savings Bonds through TreasuryDirect in 2022 and have regularly monitored my account since that time. However, at the end of July, I was unable to log in. When I contacted TreasuryDirect, I was informed that my account had been locked for security reasons and was instructed to submit a signed form to restore access.

On October 18, I received an email from TreasuryDirect notifying me that my funds had already been redeemed and transferred to a newly added bank account that I do not control. These actions occurred entirely without my authorization. I have never shared my TreasuryDirect account number, password, or any authentication credentials, including one-time passcodes (OTP), with anyone.

This appears to be a clear case of fraud involving unauthorized access to my TreasuryDirect account. I respectfully request that the Federal Bureau of Investigation investigate this matter and take action to identify and stop the perpetrators.
