Plz help about speeding ticket

Southern California. 95miles at a 50mile zone. Paid the fine but has to go to the court about 300 miles away. Anybody knows if not showing up in court, will the violation point of driving increase the car insurance premium the following year? How much will be the increase? Thank you very much if you know or heard any information.
