我租了一个apartment，付了租金和deposit，本计划今年年底（12月30日）入住。之后房东又不停的发消息，就是让你多付钱。这次他说我入住前根据法律规定，需要对apartment进行专业清洁，让我再付房东400多美元。我回信说，这个服务没有列在lease上，如果是法律条款，请把相关法律条款寄过来，否则的话，我不会付款。
我的问题是，如果不是法律条文，但是房东必须要求我付清洁费才同意入住，否则不给我房钥匙，我该怎么办呢？
另property manager已经回信，可是我仍不想付款，第一我有些洁癖，不太相信这些专业公司，第二，我自己已经打算入住前进行大清节，the third is, the rent is somehow high and I exhausted nearly all deposit，请问应该如何应对呢？谢谢！下面是property manager的回信。

You are the first ternant arguing about this,These cleaners has been working under us for decades now,they are in charged in cleaning all the properties attached to your new LandLord.This is a one time payment and even when you move out of the apartment nobody will asked you to clean.The apartment will be cleaned up before you move in and when you move out it will still be cleaned up by them plus other maintenance that they will carried out in the house,Nobody will ever involve you to pay any fee as you stay in the apartment.
