How can we work out this?

My boyfriend want to sell me his 2002 Jaguar S-TYPE which he bought about a year ago. I have to pay off his loan about $19000. He paid around $50000 about year
ago. The title is under his name and I am ok with that. I don't want to pay sell's tax since he just paid about a year ago. My question is, how can we work out
so I can have a car without paying sell tax. Is that any way he can put my name on the title? The worst case I just have his name under the title. I don't
really care about that since he is the person I do trust. Thanks, any advice will be appreciated.
