求教：谁知道这个美国世界大学？

有朋友从国内来信，要打听一个叫American World University的底细，说该校在中国有分校。
我刚在网上查了一下，是missisippi的一个什么地方。据说是在全球招生，网络教学。
国内的人主要担心是不是骗钱的。可我不知道该怎么确认这种事?哪位能提供些信息？下面是该校的网址。
