Is is a trap?

I contact some seller of amazon for electric products and he took my name and address first, then I got an email looks like amazon (confirmations@amazon.com) about the payment which is cash wireless transfer not through amazon. I think it is a trap, because after I contact the seller, the seller withdrawal from amazon immediately, and the price is far below fare market price. Please share your knowledge. Thanks!
