On my case, they only asked for a copy of the past 2 years of returns. I gave them only 1 year and they accepted it. No questions asked. Make sure you filed the right returns. My guess is, they should NOT ask you any questions related to your tax because they are not qualified. They probably count on IRS to do their job. If you have a problem with IRS, I don't what would happen.
