替代的号 is changeable. If ssn is not used routinely,

the chance it is stolen would be much lower. If 替代的号 is stolen, one change it (maybe assosciated with processing fee), then the credit will not be ruined. I heard some bad stories regarding stolen ssn. One girl I know cannot get any low loan rate.
