car collision at the intersect

I was just involved in an accident: I was in the left-turn lane and entered the intersection when I had the green light. I waited until the light turned red and then I turned left. At that very moment, an upcoming car which had slowed down already entered the intersection and hit my car. The other driver admitted to me he had run the red light, and apologized to me. But later on he told his insurance company that we both entered the intersection when the light changed red. The police report does not help in any way. I filed the claim to the other driver's insurance company because I only have liability. Can I win ?Any advice? Thanks. Lee
