问个法律上的事，

有个人，他老了，钱又很少。但仍然住在自己的房子里，承担着各种各样的费用，过的很贫困。他也很想住到政府给穷人的公寓里去，但他的房子卖不掉，因为有lien在房子上。

他想撑到老了，到时候把房子传给子女，据他说lien就购销了，是不是这样？
