Both my parents are bad in health now. The own one house in a big city in China. I have a brother in China, who gets along with me very well. We can trust each other. My parents' idea is to let us inherit the house equally (50%). I agree to give extra cash to my brother, as he is with my parents right now and has spent more efforts to take care of my parents. I currently have the green card (USA) and still hold the Chinese passport. No intention to change nationality in the future. Since I left China long time ago, I do not have the chinese id card anymore. Will any of you know the general procedure for me to inherit the house (~50%, the other 50% belongs to my brother)? Will it be easier to inherit cash (in Chinese Yuan) than a half-house? The amount of money is not super big, but not very small either. I really appreciate your help.

我认为你拿着中国护照 应该在回中国时非常方便办理一下身份证 用你的户口。不然在中国做什么都不方便。非常不方便。 -想明白- 给 想明白 发送悄悄话 (0 bytes) () 08/20/2017 postreply 14:16:11
