怎样无风险解雇员工？

小本买卖，雇了几个人手。其中一个G经常说谎，出工不出力。本来她说要照顾小孩，所以一周要求在家工作2天。俺也就同意了。结果每次在家最多也就干2-3小时的工作，却报满8小时。现在有另一个雇员要搬倒别州去，俺就对G说现在情况不允许了，必须在办公室来。结果她就说写了下面的邮件：

Thank you for your time today. I will have to be remote tomorrow as discussed and will be able to do the following work: xxxxxxxxxxxx. Please let me know if you are OK. In case it is not, I would like to take a paid day off. Based on our previous discussions, as an employee I would have paid days off.

俺公司规定一年之后才有Paid Vacation. 她来才2个月。而且也没有她所谓的 discussion. 这实在有点欺人太甚了吧。俺就想隔天过来就跟她说对不起，你被解雇了。这是你的支票。交出钥匙，电脑走人吧。

不知有甚法律问题要注意吗？俺公司在加州。G是Employee。
