楼主在庭审之前认罪了，这不是赢，只是输得小一点。

警察和证人，只有在庭审的时候才会出现。庭审前的出庭，仅仅是准备庭审，警察和证人不用出席。

至于楼主拿到的轻判，可能是律师和检方的plea deal，当然楼主最清楚，到底是deal还是法官仁慈。
