注意到你提到的那篇论文里有这样的表述，Most of the time, the reasonableness of a flat fee is measured by comparing it with the time the lawyer spent on the matter multiplied by the lawyer’s hourly rate.

那么，想要律师退还未作工作的那部分预付款，除了减除你说的与律师直接打交道的那两个小时，可能还有律师说的花了其它时间研究你的案子，这也是要花你的银子的。不过你可也要求他们出示清单时间都花在哪儿了，但律师肯定会整出个有模有样的list，俺以前在申请绿卡换律师的过程中深有体会。
