The cited law seems only to say WC lien is equal to ONLY your share of the recivery of the first case, 25000 instead of 30000. It says nothing about where the lien should be paid out of the recovery of second case.

But i am not familiar with ths NJ law. To be safe I suggest pay another NJ labor attiorny for an opinion letter on this matter. The second attorney just need to research this, no need to represent you
