What is the next step?

My son was charged by somebody for CyberStakes. So we hired an attorney. On the first court date, the complainant aggreed to drop the charges in the county dispute resolution center. Both parties signed the aggrement and we paid the court fee $60.00.

My questions:

1. Is it the real case closed?
2. I still have the outstanding balance payment for the attorney? Actually the attornet has done nothing. What I need to do?

By the way, the partial aggrement between us and the attorney is:

The firm is not fully retained until the balance is paid in full. Legal Service shall not be completed until the Firm is fully retained. FAILURE TO PAY the outstanding balance prior to the trial or disposition daze will result in IMMEDLATE WITHDRAWL and The xxx Firm and Attorney is released form all legal responsibility.
