debt problem, need help!!

Use to own a limited company which owned a small business. Just closed both recently. The business still owned another corporation money -- but only several hundred dollars. Do I have to pay the money? Do they have the legal power to ask myself to pay for the money from personal account? Will they hire a collection agency? What should I do?
