法律上你们没有理，但是现实比法律要宽广

人家虽然可以来告你们，一般业主都会集中精力找下一个房客。

同时，你们也把钱省下来去找好学区的房子。

以后人家来告你们，主动和对方meet the half way就把事情给消了。

可是我怀疑money order或者cashier's check好像无法取消。你们只能是花钱买教训吧。
