Changing address is a serious thing, it affects the chain of deeds (房产买卖链）recorded at the county court house. Some later buyer would expect to find unit 19 but the history shows unit 13. 你自己也需要注意，以后卖房的时候要解释清楚。

相对来说，你的condo board反而不关心这些。你自己去问condo HOA， You are on your own to deal with your condo board.

再说，你需要把房子买下来才能改，买以前不是你的财产，现在都是瞎忙。所以你只能住一段鬼屋。
