罪状認否 (日语译arraignment）

第一次出庭是问你认不认罪，如果你不认罪，排一个庭审日期。如果认罪，法官可以直接判刑。对于交通罚单当然无所谓，但是其他罪行，根据你的认罪法官可以直接判拘留或者罚款。第二次出庭才是庭审。你这个情况，应该是plea not guilty during arraignment，ask for court trial.
