want to die

I trusted one friend, he said he could help me doing investment, then I trsuted him to manage my account, I told him to always leave 10,000 cash untouched and demamaged scope no more than 2 or 3 thousand dollars, I do not want to go a very risk one. He was agreed with me, but when I found out he played options , only one week, he made my account only left less than $1000, more $20,000 gone. I called him, he said he would pay me, but after that he never replyed my call and I could not find him anymore. I feel very sad and I knew I am stupid to trust a person like this, please tell me, what I could do?
