A lot of things one can do to protect self. He is not interested in
put the woman in jail or get her fired. Look at how effective the
recording is for the woman accusing O'Reilly. In her case, the
hint of the existence of recording was enough to protect her interests.
Image what would happen if she doesn't have those recording.
