If you can't explain yourself in court, how do you think your "letter" can change the result with the same argument?  Do not repeat the same argument you made in court, try to find something else to say.

Once you have a judgment, the case is over. There are usually 21-30 days judge could reopen, but after that, the case is DEAD.  So don't delay.
