I sued lanlord for failing to provide habitable living conditon and unreasonaly refuse to sublese after we found qualified tennnents to sublease the apartment. landlord does not make an reasonalble effort to reapir the leaking in the bathroon shower head in over 41 days, and it later leaks so badly the whole apartment is covered with water drops and condensation we have to move out of the apartment ahead of lease expire date.
i sued landlord in california small claim court and then the landlord sued me in cicil cout for breaking the lease and property damage. he blam me for the water damage cuase for the leaking shower head. we did found qualified people to sublease the apartment, the three indian IT professionals even send us their job offer letter from groupon and rental application form. the landlord unreasonably refuse to let me sublease.
the landord sued me in cicil court in CA but I still did not receive the summon and claim form, I know I have to ANSWER the claim within 30 days AFTER i was served by the landlord, which form should I use for answer .
