带妈妈去加勒比cruise的回美入关问题

准备带妈妈坐去加勒比的cruise。妈妈的multi-entry 的visa已经过期，I-94仍然有效。请问可以出境旅游吗？有效的I-94可以确保回美没问题吗？谢谢。
