How could I file for divorce?

It has bothered me for some time, my spouse is in China and I am in the US now, we have been seperated for almost two yaers, and both of us know there are many problems in our marriage. I wonder how I could file for a divorce without going back to China? Do I need to hire a lawyer in China to reprsent me? Does anybody have any advice? Thank you very much!
