1。 你如果交迟了，而且事后没有及时ask 他们 if they can wave your later fees, then you have no choice but paying it.

2. They have the right to sue you and they might as well as get a judgment agaist you, by then, you probably have to pay their lawyer fees too.

More ever, if the case has been brought it to court already, the best thing you have to do now is just pay and make a settlement with them. the reason is once you got a judgment, it will become a public record and might not do good for your personal credit, it doesn't matter that how much money has been involved.
