而且我一再强调：如果警方要采取任何行动的话，我不允许他们拍照，留纪录。
警方也答应了，还让我当场写下“I would not press charges against my BF."

I dont' think police mislead you in any ways. They don't have to
take pictures to press charges on your BF. They do have the right
to charge your BF themself based on the nurse's records. You can
not dismiss the charge since it was not filed by you. Your BF does
need a lesson.
