Police don't call, they always knock on your door. If you receive a call from police, 99% of the time it's a prank. In your case, it's probably from the person to whom you sold the CDs.

2. You are NOT to talk to a police officer for any accusation against you. NEVER.

Officer: "Sir, do you know why I stopped you?", You: "Sorry, I was speeding." Wrong Answer.

3. Stop wasting everyone's time. Next time use your brain.
