这算normal wear and tear吗？

小女子我今早穿袜子时，象往常那样座在马桶盖上。但这次马桶那塑料盖裂成几块。
我以前租过很多apartments，从来没坏过东西，或许有小维修但rental office(s)没违难过我。
现我租的是semi-detached house的首层,在这儿一年多,没坏过东西. 还没跟房东讲, 担心房东会为难我.咋办?.
