Relative got hit by a car in parking lot last week

Right now, she is in hospital, and needs to be discharged to a re-hab facility. For a person with the injury she got, the 5-year survial rate would be only 50%, which is higher than most of cancer.
As we learned from the police, the car owner has insurance. My relative is a green card holder, not covered by any insurance right now. I don't have a legal background, would you please give me some advice about how to find a decent lawyer?
