There are so many ways to achieve what you want. You will have to sit down with an estate planning attorney to figure out. For example, you can do it with a UTMA, or a joint revocable trust. Careful attention must be paid to things like your total assets, your age, your children's ages, whether you live in a community property state or a marital property state, your tax bracket, and many more. It is simpler to say than do it.
