请教老猫及其他有经验的朋友： 怎样处理邻居的抱怨

我们住在麻州。去年租了一个三楼的 apartment. 二楼住着一个美国女人。起初几个月相安无事。可近儿个月，这个女人开始抱怨我们晚上的燥声影响了她的休息。她上来和我们谈过一次。我们跟她说我们会很注 意。让她一周后再上来和我们沟通一下。但是她再也没上来。我们以为问题解决了。谁知道她告到了HOA;。而且不停地发邮件給我们的landload. 如下是其中的一封邮件。
This is the follow-up email regarding your tenants in 31D. The noise level has been a little better, however it is still at a level that I cannot live with.

January 9, 2014 ... 12:43 a.m. - 1:07 a.m. ... banging in the master bedroom (THIS WOKE ME UP)

January 10, 2014 ... No noise (this is after I sent an email to you)

January 11, 2014 ... 9:41 p.m. ... banging in the living room.

January 12, 2014 ... 10:49 p.m. ... stomping in the master bedroom

January 13, 2014 ... 1:06 a.m. ... stomping in the master bedroom (THIS WOKE ME UP)
                                 10:56 p.m. ... stomping in the master bedroom

January 14, 2014 ... 12:09 a.m. ... stomping in the master bedroom (THIS WOKE ME UP)
                                  10:09 p.m. ... stomping in the master bedroom
                                  11:31 p.m. ... stomping / banging in the living room and master bedroom

January 15, 2014 ... 11:49 p.m. ... stomping in the master bedroom

As you can see, it is a little better. Unfortunately, the noise that is still happening is still waking me up. I don't know what they are doing at these hours but they need to be aware that there are other surrounding residents that should be respected.

Moving forward, I will be sending another email in a few days to let you know what's going on.



其 实我们自认为是很安静的租客。我们俩人都是专业人士。没有小孩和我们同住。平时我们特别注意，也没有什么特别的活动，如听音乐，看电视，接待朋友等。因为 很早上班，所以我10点就休息了。我先生会晚一些。基本也在12点前。我们不知道为什么这个女人不停地抱怨。这件事搞得我们都快得受不了.总不能我们坐在 家里一动不动吧

请教老猫及其他有经验的朋友，在这种情况下，我们该怎么办? 例如，是否可以找到一个讲理的地方？ 是否有办法证明我们没有制照这样的噪声，至少没有超过噪声的标准？
