回复：arrest record. 找工作碰到麻烦了! 求助！-新问题！！

已经通过请律师把arrest记录expunged。之前由于没经验没及时expunged，被一个雇主通过background check查到记录后取消了工作offer。如今好不容易又获得一个大学的博后offer，郁闷的是，他们的international center要求在线填写一个Questionair，上面有一项：Have you ever been arrested, charged with or convicted of any crime or offense anywhere in the world (other than a traffic ticket), even if the arrest or conviction was later dismissed, expunged or pardoned? If yes, please provide details. （并说明：You must answer these questions in order to submit this questionnaire for review.）我是不是可以回答： No。印象中雇主在file H1B petition时并不需要填这个问题。此外，本人在申请其它employer的工作时一般也只问是否被convicted，没见过问是否arrested的。真不想因为这个而丢掉工作offer了。如果如实填写保不准他们会以什么理由取消offer。请大家帮忙出出主意。多谢啦！
