谢谢老猫回答我昨天的问题，更多细节和update，请帮我seek more options

男孩用手 held a sharp pencil on a school bus seat. 我儿子没看见坐上去， 导致血流不止. 学校护士帮忙也无法止住，学校叫了911 并送我儿子去了emergency room。我儿子被缝了几针。警察也被学校叫来并file police report。 学校也file了accident report ， 有几个学生也作证了（都在report里）。男孩承认是有意所为， 是a bad prank。 学校也给男孩suspension了。

We got around $3500 bill now. The school wanted us to settle the bill with the boy’s parents。男孩是印度人，家长说以前是开洗衣店的， 现在生意不好关店了，父母目前都没收入。他们开始说家里没钱不付，我们说告他， 他们又说没钱只能一个·月付￥50 -￥100 。我们怕他们付几个月就不付了，永远扯不清。。。

我们对告他也没兴趣，只想把钱要回来。。还有什么其他的办法要钱吗？ 学校，校车， file lien against the house？

请帮我们想想， 开阔一下思路。。
