Thank you for all the helps.

It is almost certain this thing will go to small claim court and I will withhold all evidence till then. Just one question: can the landlord put this money on my credit report without a court judgement against me? I can not wait to go to court, but also worry they may skip that and go to collection and ruin my credit.
