as far as I know it is fine.. you can get married but like the other person said, it will take A WHILE to get her green card... She doesnt' have to go back to china to wait. as matter of fact she will get some approiate documentations right away.. to be sure, to consult with some professionals... if you are in NY there are many offices in Chinatown or Flushing, most of them are not really lawyers, but they should be good enough to answer your questions.... and do some study in www.immigration.gov yourself... dont' just listen to PEOPLE around you... I had the similar expeirence... they might lead you the wrong... things like this you wouldn't want to make a mistake, so spend some money if it's necessary and get the things straight... good luck
