water damage to downstairs condo

my condo dishwasher broke and water leaked to downstair caused water mark in downstairs' kitchen and bathroom ceilings. I am going to pay for the painting service for those ceilings. but the owner of downstairs says because living room and kitchen share the same ceiling, if we only paint the kitchen's ceiling, the color will be mismatch. she wants me to pay for the painting service for the living room ceiling as well

My question is: should I pay for painting for the living room ceiling?
