公寓Security Deposit

请教关于公寓Security Deposit的问题。

本人一年前搬入公寓的时候该公寓没有打扫。Management 退我$100作为补偿。但当时疏忽没有让Management 出具文字证明。一年后Management 以地毯过旧为由不退Deposit且charge 本人$150。当时负责此事的经理也已经离开。请问有何良策讨回Deposit? 多谢多谢。如果不理它，后果会如何?
