配偶的退休金问题

丈夫是美国公民，70岁，领美国退休金（很低的退休金），于上月病逝。他的妻子（美国绿卡，无工作，无收入，69岁，二人的婚姻已经有40多年）能够继续领他的退休金吗？如果她想回中国居住半年（少于180天，以免绿卡失去），会影响她领退休金吗？
