car accident and pregnancy

Hi:

 

I had a car accident several days back, it was not my fault, the insurance company for the insured party (at fault party) asked me to sign a medical release form and pay me $500 and up to $1500 for the medical bill when the baby is delivered. My question is: should I take this settlement or can I renegociate with them? The issue is until baby is delivered I am not sure I should waive their responsibility if there is any.
