紧急请教:家长在一case中的权力。

最近儿子学校有孩子发生冲突，我儿子和其中被打的孩子有宿怨，但完全未参与冲突，学校经过investigation后儿子被指定为bully。昨天和负责老师谈话时发现他们对那天的事件搞错人了，因负责人讲话前后不一致不排除intentional搞错，于是与学校交涉。要求看report。学校隔了一天回复声称他们不能给我看report，因为可能violate the rights of others 。于是我要求discussion，他们说也不能跟我discuss the investigation。

请问我作为家长的right是什么？是否值得pursue这件事？
