life insurance

A parent is dying. His life insurance benefit isn't titiled to his minor but to his parents or estate ( which one is unknown yet), can this life insurance be revoked by court for minor's benefits?

What can the other parent do to protect the minor? The dying one is also proceeding the divorce. Can court order him to grant life insurance to a minor? or child support from his life insurance or properties?
