怎么会收到JURY DUTY的通知

忽然收到 Jury Management Office 寄来的通知，YOU are summoned to appear at the SUPERIOR COURT, XXXX, XXX, Room XXX, to Serve as a PETIT JUROR. You must report on XX/XX/2004 per recorded message, term of service is 2 days or one trial.

请问这是怎么回事？我持H1签证，我是不是不用去？还有，怎么会两天了？怎么这么长啊？

我是根本不想去的。是不是把附的表格在是不是US CITIZEN上写NO，寄回去就可以了。
