股票交易的共同账号

按理说家丑不可外扬，但我实在想不出该怎么办，所以先上来问一问：
我和刚结婚不久的太太建立了一个用于股票交易的共同账号（Joint account) ，今天接到开户的证卷商打来的电话,说收到申请要把共同账号上的全部财权转移到太太一个人名下的账号上，有两个人的签字。可问题是我对此一无所知，从来没有签过字。这是怎么回事？我太太伪造了签名，她犯法了吗？她上周五借口公司出差，目前不在家，我找不到她。求懂美国法律的人指点，我真的心情很乱。
