今下午五点左右，我正在修理窗帘，看见邻居男少年（15岁）从我家车道走进我的后院，我大为惊讶，等了一分钟，不见那小子出来，我放下手中的活儿，从后门出，见我deck下站着一人，我问道，"who is there?",那小子从deck下面走出，我问道“Why do you come to my back yard?" 那小子不以为然，”just cross fence". 我突然闻到焦味，“something is burning". 那小子回我，”I got that smell one minute ago". 说完，那小子匆匆溜走，我赶紧从Deck上面走到Deck下，发现30--50 根火柴正在冒烟，我火了，我从他家叫出他妈妈（55左右白人妇女，无业） 和姐姐（teenage mom), 他们认为别的坏孩子所为，我告诉她们我看见那小子进和出，我要那小子给我个解释，她们叫来那小子，那小子否认他点火柴，我当场对那小子和他妈妈姐姐说，“I don't trust what you said". 我和他们说，下一此再见到那小子闯入我的地盘将报警，他们三人都保证那小子不再进入的地盘，然后，那小子把地上没有燃尽的火柴捡起带走。请大家帮我分析一下，除了报警有没有更好的办法？若报警，那小子会有什么后果？ 谢谢！
