我犯法了吗？

我碰到一件很麻烦的事情，我参加一个BOARD考试，有一种考试材料很贵，我从朋友哪里买到USED ORIGINIAL BOOKS，看了觉得不是很好，就打算在网上卖了，我的广告中说明是ORIGINIAL BOOKS，因为价高，几乎没有人要，因为很多人都在卖COPY，比我的便宜一半，有个人来问我就把自己的IDENTITY给了他，不一会这个公司就给我发EMAIL说我违反了COPYRIGHT LAW， 他们已经报告给司法部，并报告给BOARD禁止我参加考试，都好几天没睡觉了，我不知道如何处理？是不是卖USED ORIGINIAL BOOKS也是违法的，警察会来我家查吗？如果卖USED ORIGINIAL BOOKS不是违法，我是不是要起诉这个公司？
