有关child support的问题

去年离婚的时候，法庭判我付我前妻alimony,我前妻付我 child support。两边的律师都说我可以从我付的alimony里扣除她要付的child support。我也是一直这么做的。直到上个月才知道好像律师们没有上交正式的文件。我就写了一封信给我前妻。证明child support一直是从alimony里扣的。而且，从这个月起，我开始付全部的alimony。

前几天，接到法院的信。表示收到我的证明。同时指出，我前妻在申请Court Order Satisfaction of Child Support Payment. 最后一段是这样的：

The Court will consider whether or not to issue an Order satisfying child support payment pursuant to Iowa Code Section 598.22A(1) if the person entitled to received the support (my name) files a Notarized Affidavit itemizing the dates and amounts of child support payments received in this matter.

我的问题是，我已经写了证明，还需要送交Notarized Affidavit么？我在IOWA。
